So it turns out we actually are what we eat

For a long, long time, I thought it was just a joke, but things never changed, my brother, mother and father still eat totally differently to me. Which is ok, but the basic similarity is that we were taught early what you eat is how you feel.

My family would call me a rabbit, or a sparrow because I loved eating greens mostly, and many times a day. I was sort of a grazer so to speak. Well, the jury is in on that one, and it best benefits our bodies to eat mostly plants, and to eat often, instead of three big meals a day. Also, don't wait until you are totally starved to eat. Eat right before you are starving, and always remember to hydrate often. Preferrably with water.

I am often asked about my physique, my eating habits and my workout schedule. The truth is again,  30% of how we look is due to working out and 70% is what we eat.

I try to be active on almost all the days of the week, in the form of yoga/pilates. I do this about 30 minutes and then either walk or do some kind of cardiovascular workout at the gym. To be honest, I get bored really easily and I have to switch it up often. I also have to admit that on the days that I don't work out, I am, well lets be honest here, MISERABLE.

Working out is not the best term, actually what works best for me is a combo of movement, in yoga or pilates form in conjunction with some meditation. I like to work out my physical body as well as my spiritual body. My moments on my cushion in my living room in complete silence feeling my breath, just makes me happy. IT LITERALLY IS MY HAPPY place. But more on that later.

Let's get back to food. FOOD IS EVERYTHING. It really is, real food, is so good for you, while eating crap is literally just SHITTY For you. So do yourself a favor and treat yourself to non-processed and boxed items for 15 days and see what happens. It is incredible. Your whole body lightens up, you feel lighter, less bloated and less brain fog.
